Terms of use
Last updated 16 August 2026
These cover using this website. The terms for an actual booking are separate, and you sign those before any trip.
Who runs this
PDX Flight Nanny, based in Vancouver, Washington. Reach me at info@pdxflightnanny.com.
What this site is for
Explaining the service and letting you ask for a quote. Nothing here is a contract. Booking a trip happens through a separate written agreement that sets out the price, the deposit, the cancellation terms and what happens when things go wrong. You'll see it and sign it before you pay anything.
Quotes
A price I give you is an estimate for a specific route on specific dates, and it holds while the seats and fares I based it on are still available. Airline pricing moves. If it moves before you book, I'll tell you rather than quietly absorb it or quietly pass it on.
The guides are information, not advice
The pages about kitten age limits and health certificates describe rules as I understand them at the time of writing. Airline policies and state requirements change without notice, and they vary by route, aircraft and destination. Check anything that matters with the airline and the destination state's department of agriculture before you rely on it. None of it is veterinary advice or legal advice, and I'm not a vet or a lawyer.
What you send me
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put in the form, particularly the cat's weight and age, and for having the right to share any details you send about another person. How I handle it is in the privacy policy.
What's mine
The text, layout and illustrations on this site are mine. The terminal photograph is licensed from the photographer and credited where it appears, and that licence covers this site only. Don't copy any of it for another business.
Reading the site, quoting a line of it, or linking to it is all fine.
Availability
This is a small site run by one person. It may be down occasionally, and I can't promise it will always be reachable or free of mistakes. If you spot something wrong, telling me is more useful than working around it.
Limits
I'm not able to take responsibility for losses that come from relying on general information on this website, as opposed to a booking I've actually accepted and been paid for. Anything to do with an actual trip is governed by the booking agreement you signed, not by this page.
Links out
Where I point to an airline or a state agency, that's for convenience. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for what they say.
Changes
I'll update this page and change the date at the top. A booking already signed keeps the terms that applied when you signed it.
Governing law
Washington State.
