Short version: the only personal information I hold is what you type into the quote form, I use it to arrange your trip, and I don't sell it or advertise to you.
Who this is
PDX Flight Nanny, based in Vancouver, Washington. You can reach me at info@pdxflightnanny.com about anything on this page.
What I collect
What you send me through the quote form. Your name, email address, phone number, cattery name if you give one, where the cat is starting from and going to, how many cats, your target dates, and whatever you write in the notes box. You choose what to put in there.
What the web host records automatically. This site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information. That happens on every website and I don't have a way to switch it off.
Fonts. The typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads. I don't get anything from that.
What I don't collect
No cookies. No analytics. No advertising pixels, no session recording, no chat widget, no tracking of any kind. Nothing on this site follows you anywhere else, which is why there's no cookie banner. If that ever changes, this page changes first.
Why I have it, and how long for
To quote your trip, book it, and stay in touch while it's happening. That's the whole purpose.
Enquiries that don't turn into a booking get deleted after about a year. Records of trips I've actually flown are kept for six years, because tax and transport records need to be retained. Once I hold a USDA Class T registration I'll also be required to keep certain transport records, and those retention rules will take precedence over mine.
Who else sees it
Netlify hosts the site and processes the form, so submissions pass through their systems.
The other party to your trip. If a breeder refers you, I'll usually need to confirm details with them, and the same in reverse. I'll tell you who I'm talking to.
Nobody else. I don't sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to advertisers. Airlines get my details as the passenger, not yours.
Your choices
Email me and I'll tell you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form to fill in, no waiting period beyond how long it takes me to read my email.
California residents: this site does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and I don't respond differently to Do Not Track signals because I don't track anyone in the first place.
Children
This is a service for adults arranging animal transport. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If I change how any of this works, I'll update this page and change the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, because I don't keep one.
